YEAR 6 SCIENCE: PIG HEART DISSECTION

Year 6 scientists rolled up their sleeves today for an engaging biology lesson: dissecting pig hearts!

Because pig hearts are structurally similar to human hearts, they are perfect for locating the four chambers, valves, and major blood vessels. Students applied their classroom knowledge in real-time, showing incredible focus and respect while investigating how the circulatory system physically pumps blood.

Future doctors and biologists in the making.
