EXPLORING GEOGRAPHY BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Year 8 and 9 have been putting their geography fieldwork skills to the test!

Year 8 have been developing their mapwork skills, using GPS devices and compass points to locate specific points around the campus and accurately measure and record their positions.

Meanwhile, Year 9 have been monitoring short-term weather patterns, collecting data from different locations across the school and identifying and comparing variations in their findings.

It’s fantastic to see our students applying their geographical knowledge to real-world investigations, developing practical skills and building confidence as young geographers. Great work from our budding geographers!
