This morning, BISS students from Year 5 to Year 9 took part in an educational field trip as part of Thai Language and Culture lessons. We visited Wat Bang Bai Mai in Surat Thani to experience the beauty and significance of the traditional Chak Phra Festival.
This activity provided students with an opportunity to experience the festival firsthand, learn about local customs and traditions, and understand the cultural values of this long-standing celebration of the people of Surat Thani.
Learning goes beyond the classroom! Through real-life experiences, students develop a deeper appreciation of Thai culture, strengthen their connection to local heritage and become active participants in preserving valuable traditions for future generations.
